Closing of the Stephenville Mill

Today at 10:00 am we were informed that the Stephenville Mill will be closing permanently in October 2005. The spinoffs from this will effect many individuals, families, businesses, schools, etc.

The news is quite overwhelming. You have to think positively that this could mean something new may happen to our town. Hopefully, not a GHOST town.

Maybe, our government may try to help us so this will not happen.
